This is Cleveland—heard, felt, and sung.
In this intimate staging of Working: a musical, the stories of everyday people take center stage. From the factory floor to the office desk; the classroom to the construction site, the heartbeat of a city comes alive through the voices of those who keep it moving.
Inspired by the spirit of Northeast Ohio, this production infuses Studs Terkel’s iconic portrait of the American workforce with a distinctly Cleveland feel—rich with soul, grit, humor, and pride. Set to a vibrant score of folk, rock, and popular music, each story unfolds just feet away, inviting you to celebrate every job well done.
This high-octane, rock-infused musical showcases the pride of Americana—with calloused hands and a full heart; the rhythm of a city built on hard work, and the people who show up every day to make it matter.
