This week’s Featured Furry Friend is a big beautiful boy named Schnoogs! Schnoogs is about 13 years old and came to the APL about a month ago. He was a stray cat that a very nice person noticed hanging around a few years ago. About 3 months ago this kind person noticed a small wound on Schnoogs' head and watched it get bigger. Schnoogs learned this was a friendly person and would even crawl up on their lap on the porch. When it was obvious Schnoogs needed help this Good Samaritan brought him to the APL. Schnoogs head is almost all cleared up and he is in good health. Like many strays he is FIV+, but with regular vet visits, good food and lots of love he’ll remain a healthy cat. He is scared in the shelter, and his new family just needs to give them the time to get comfortable and warm up to them on his own time!
