LOS ANGELES, CA--- The Guardians held off the Angels to get a 6-3 win in the city of Angels Friday night. The Guardians had another great outing from a starting pitcher, this time it was Logan T Allen going 5 innings, only giving up 3 hits while striking out 6 L.A. batters. The Angels have been struggling with injuries, sporting a lineup without Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, or Anthony Rendon.

Early on Allen would get himself into a jam, loading the bases in the opening inning with 2 outs, but he managed to work out of it striking out Randal Grichuk. On offense, the Naylor brothers had a strong outing, both Josh and Bo would be have their names on 4 of Cleveland's 6 runs on the night. The first would be from Josh hitting a single to drive in Steven Kwan in the 3rd inning, he would be followed closely by younger brother Bo in the 4th with an RBI single of his own. The next one form a Naylor brother would come form Josh drawing a bases loaded walk in the 6th inning, they would save the best for last however, with Josh driving in Bo from 3rd with a SAC fly in the 8th inning. Additional run support Friday night came from two SAC flies from both Steven Kwan in the 6th, and Ramon Laureano in the 8th.

The Angels made things interesting in the middle innings, cutting the lead in half twice throughout the game, cutting the lead to 2-1 in the 4th thanks to a Jordyn Adams SAC fly, then came a hit that had Guardians fans worried, a Logan O'Hoppe 2 run bomb in the 6th. The Guardians bullpen arms in Nick Sandlin, Sam Hentges, Reynaldo Lopez, Trevor Stephan, and Emmanuel Clase would put in a collective effort to keep the Angels scoreless for the rest of the night.

The Guardians are scheduled to send out Lucas Giolito Saturday night, first pitch is set for 9:07.
