Guardians Sweep Series With White Sox, Win 4-2

CHICAGO IL--- The Guardians have swept the White Sox and have reduced their magic number to 5 after winning Thursday night's affair 4-2.

The Guardians, kings of the SAC fly, had 2 tonight, both from Jose Ramirez his first was in the 3rd inning driving home Amed Rosario and his next in the 5th inning driving in Steven Kwan. Before that the Guardians got off to an early start via an Andres Gimenez RBI single, Ramirez was the run to score. The White Sox would rebound in the bottom half of the first inning, Eloy Jimenez would hit a ground ball that deflected off the glove of Amed Rosario and allow Jose Abreu to score. Between Ramirez's SAC flies Steven Kwan would hit an RBI double allowing Myles Straw, who has had a great stretch as of late to score. The White Sox didn't go down silently, as in the bottom of the 8th, Gavin Sheets would hit a solo home run.

The Guardians head out to Texas to play the Rangers tomorrow night, with Cody Morris on the mound for the Guardians. First pitch i scheduled for 8:05 pm.
