KANSAS CITY, MO--- The Cleveland Guardians were all over the Royals in Kansas City winning this afternoon's game 13-1 ending a 5-game losing streak. Triston McKenzie was on the mound today, going 6 innings giving up only 3 hits, no runs, and striking out 4. The Guardians had 5 players who tallied 3 hits today.

The Guardians started early with a Jose Ramirez single that brought home Steven Kwan. Later on in that same inning, Franmil Reyes would hit a double that brought in Amed Rosario who would be responsible for multiple Guardians runs this afternoon. The next inning would also see multiple Guardians runs scored, coming off the bats of Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez. The Guardians waited till the 4th to continue to pile on the runs, Andres Gimenez hit a single that rolled into left field and brought in Rosario and Ramirez. Also in that same inning, we would see Nolan Jones' first major league home run, a 457ft moonshot which cleared Gimenez and Josh Naylor off the bags. The Guardians steadily tore apart Kansas City out hitting the Royals 23-7. Myles Straw. Steven Kwan, Amed Rosario, Jose Ramirez, and Andres Gimenez all tallied 3 hits on the day. A one-sided affair at best.

The Guardians stay in Kansas City tomorrow for a 2:10 first pitch, Zach Plesac will battle Zack Greinke.
