DETROIT, MI-- Game two of the Fourth of July doubleheader had Konnor Pilkington for the Guardians and Alex Faedo for the Tigers.

In the bottom of the third, the Tigers jumped first with a fielder's choice to second the scored Jonathan Schoop and take the early lead.

The Guardians answered in the fourth with three runs off the bats of Franmil Reyes, Andres Gimenez, and Owen Miller to take the 3-1 lead.

The Guardians' lead will not last long when the Tigers answered the Guards with two more runs in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game at three.

Detroit took over the rest of the game with a run in the sixth and a home run in the seventh to win the game 5-3.

The Guardians are back to face the Tigers tomorrow with the first pitch at 7:10.
