BALTIMORE, MD -- After dropping the first two games in Baltimore by a combined score of 26-0, the Indians lineup remained ice-cold. Despite getting ten hits, the Indians were only able to muster two total runs in a 2-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Shane Bieber was nearly perfect in today's Sunday afternoon showdown, allowing just three, striking out 11 batters over eight dazzling innings at Camden Yards. It was an impressive encore for the Indians starter, as he earned his first career shutout with 15 K's in his last start versus the Orioles. Brad Hand made his first appearance since giving up his first blown save of the season, and he came out of the gates a little shaky, allowing two singles and a two-out walk in the ninth inning of a two-run game. Hand prevailed by striking out Anthony Santander to earn his 23rd save of the season.

Carlos Santana drove in each of the Indians' two runs, each coming off of singles. The All-Star first baseman continues to be the clutch hitter that the tribe needed in their lineup, as he now has 48 RBI's on the year.

The Cleveland Indians move to 8.5 bgames back of the Minnesota Twins in the A.L. Central after dropping two out of three in Baltimore this weekend. The Texas Rangers are now a half game ahead of the Indians for the second wild card spot in the American League playoff chase. The Indians will have Monday off before heading to Kansas City, Missouri for a three-game road series. Trevor Bauer will get the nod for the visiting Indians, as the Royals will throw right hander Jake Junis. First pitch is set for 8:15 pm ET on Tuesday evening at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
