Colorado Buffaloes Head Football Coach Deion Sanders signed a contract extension through the 2029 season that will make him the highest paid coach in the Big 12 and one of the highest paid coaches in the country, and he’s still being underpaid. Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres are in for Doug Gottlieb today and they explain why, for all he’s done for the University and surrounding community, Deion would be a bargain at twice the price.
Dan Beyer: “I actually still think Deion Sanders is underpaid. Deion Sanders is underpaid with a new $54M deal that’s going to go through 2029 for everything he’s done for that school, for that program, for the area around the school. Not unlike what Will Wade was selling what he did with McNeese (State), I think Deion’s done it 100 times fold in Boulder.”
Aaron Torres: “Deion doesn’t have to coach football. Deion can go be Deion and still have a very profitable life, but you have to let him know he’s valued and this clearly does..."
