Bangs is this week's Featured Furry Friend from the Cleveland APL!

This week our Featured Furry Friend is a very handsome cat named Bangs! Bangs is a former stray who is super sweet and laid back with beautiful green eyes and interesting markings on his nose and chin! He’s outgoing and very affectionate….the perfect snuggler!During his check up when he first came to the APL the Vets discovered that sweet Bangs is FIV+. FIV is an immune disease specific to cats that weakens their immune system, similar to HIV in humans. There is no cure, but FIV-positive cats can live long, normal, and healthy lives with proper care. They can live with FIV negative cats since risk of infection is low if the cats get along (it can only be passed from mother to baby or by deep bite wounds). To learn more about Bangs call the APL at 216-771-4616 or log on to clevelandapl.org. Check back next week for another Featured Furry Friend from the Cleveland APL!
