As a loving tribute to her son, Johanna Giselhall Sandstrom thought it would be nice to have his name tattooed on her body. Here’s a pro tip if you ever decide to do something similar – make sure your tattoo artist knows how to spell.
Instead of “Kevin,” her new piece of body art read “Kelvin.”
Given the script style, the only option the tattoo artist could offer was a refund, and tattoo removal was far too expensive.
So Johanna and her husband decided to do the next logical thing… change their two-year-old son’s name from Kevin… to Kelvin.
Apparently, Kevin… er, Kelvin… has taken to his new name, and Johanna says it’s actually a better name and that “no one else” has it (with the exception of “tens of thousands” of people in the U.S., the UK, Nigeria, and Malaysia).
