Chef Jeff Dinnebeil and his wife, Megan Lingsweiler, own the upscale The Standard restaurant in Toledo, Ohio, and recognize their staff as the “lifeblood” of the business.
After a busy holiday season, the couple rewarded their staff with a three-day Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas.
The entire staff, along with loyal customers and former employees, enjoyed the surprise trip.
Cook Andrew Jackson shared, “Everybody went on there as employees, and when we left and went back home, everybody was like family.”
The restaurant closed for the vacation, allowing everyone to enjoy island visits and catered meals. Dinnebeil and Lingsweiler credit their staff for their success and provided additional holiday bonuses.
