#GoodNews: Passenger Lands Small Plane After Pilot’s Medical Emergency

A passenger landed a small plane on Friday after its pilot had a medical emergency.

The FAA says the aircraft was traveling with a pilot and one other person on board from Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada to Monterey Regional Airport in California.

The passenger took control after the pilot had a medical emergency in flight and made an emergency landing at Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield, California, the FAA said.

The identities of the passenger and pilot were not released but the passenger was uninjured in the impressive landing.
