On the balance of being happy to accomplish the individual goal of surpassing 1,500 rushing yards but being disappointed the team did not meet its goals with a 7-10 record:

“It is bittersweet. Individually, it is something that I am proud of for sure. Had a lot of help with the O line and guys blocking for me. At the end of the day, I am about winning. It didn’t happen yesterday and didn’t happen a lot season. It is stuff to be proud of for sure from this season. There are things we need to work on, but overall, it is bittersweet right now.”

On why the Browns did not have as much success this year despite the talent on the roster:

“I think it was the small things – small things on and off the field that added up that came back bite us in the butt on the field during the games. Just overall, we have to clean some things up, get some things right, fix stuff and come back ready to work.”

On if the transition from QB Jacoby Brissett to QB Deshaun Watson was bigger than expected:

“I am not really sure. We had more time with Jacoby for sure, the chemistry and all of that, but Deshaun is a great quarterback. It is all about us getting on the same page and going from there.”

On the outlook for the Browns offense next season with the expectation much of the unit will return in 2023:

“I don’t know. It is too far to tell right now. Hopefully, we get a bunch of guys back and we get everybody back as soon as possible to get back to work. Right now, I am exhausted. I am just ready to take a little break and get away from everything.”

On what the team needs to correct off the field:

“Just all coming together. Just all being here together as a team. That is pretty much it. Just all come together.”

On the opportunity for the Browns offense to click in the run and pass games, given the unit’s production in the running game this season and Watson’s ability in the passing game:

“It is just that we can be good at both. That is what gives me hope. We all know we can run the ball well. Now with Deshaun, we do a lot of great different things passing the ball. Just putting it all together and making it match.”

On not making the playoffs in back-to-back seasons:

“It is hard for sure. No one in this building wants to be going home right now. We have to find a way to push it back to February. It is tough. Everybody has expectations coming into the season, and we didn’t meet any of them. For me personally, it is hard. I know we all work hard in the offseason and I know personally I do, too. Going home right now isn’t great.”
