Lane reductions begin today in Cleveland's Gateway District for the Memorial Bridges Loop project.

City officials say the project will create a protected shared-use path connecting the Gateway District to West 25th Street, the Detroit-Superior Bridge and the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge.

The work will affect parts of Huron Road, Ontario Street, and Detroit Avenue.

Lane restrictions are expected to last through mid-November.
