A Kentucky man is accused of running a bourbon scam. Reports say James Willetts allegedly made contact with groups of bourbon lovers on Facebook, and made arrangements to ship them high-dollar bottles of their favorite drink. However, the post office notified authorities when they began receiving complaints from customers who say they got bottles of water and apple juice instead. After paying nearly a thousand dollars, a man in Oklahoma claims all he got was empty boxes. Willets was arrested and booked into the Hopkins County Detention Center. In all, authorities say Willetts banked $86k before being busted.
