Governor Mike DeWine has appointed a new Ohio Attorney General to replace Dave Yost.

Today, he announced that Andy Wilson will serve the remainder of Yost's term, which runs until 2027.

Yost resigned on Friday to take a position with a nonprofit legal advocacy group.

Wilson previously served as the director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety and has experience as a prosecutor.

He also held the position of senior advisor for criminal justice policy under DeWine.
