A fraud investigation led officers with the Lorain County Sheriff's Office to execute search warrants yesterday on the county administration building and the 911 dispatch center.
The investigation is reportedly related to the recent indictment of a former 9-1-1 dispatch consultant accused of improperly using law enforcement systems.
County Commissioner Dave Moore says the execution of the search warrants is a waste of taxpayer resources.
