An Avon firefighter has resigned after facing child pornography charges.
Timothy McGoldrick was arrested earlier this month by FBI agents at his home in Medina Township.
Investigators traced images of child sexual abuse back to McGoldrick's residence, and he admitted to viewing child pornography on multiple occasions.
Following his arrest, McGoldrick was placed on leave.
