An 18-year-old Garfield Heights man has been indicted after a rideshare driver was shot in Cleveland earlier this month.

Prosecutors say Deandre Griggs is accused of shooting Sheldon Scott on April 7th near Spear Road and East 146th Street before stealing his pickup truck.

Scott survived, but his family says he needed multiple surgeries.

Griggs is scheduled for arraignment on May 5th.
