Layoff notices are expected to be sent to an unspecified number of teachers and administrators in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in the coming days.
While details are still being finalized, both the district and the Cleveland Teachers Union confirm the notices will be distributed by April 14th.
These cuts are a result of the district's ongoing financial difficulties.
