A piano used by John Lennon has a new owner. The piano sold for $3.2-million at an auction hosted by Christie's in New York, becoming the most expensive item from The Beatles to be sold. The Broadwood upright piano was sold as part of The Jim Irsay Collection: Hall of Fame. Lennon used the piano to compose hits from the “Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band” album like "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds," "A Day In The Life," and “Being For the Benefit Of Mr. Kite!" A drum kit used by Ringo Starr also broke a record by selling for $2.9-million.
