Temporary Protected Status is remaining in place for Haitian immigrants in the United States following a U.S. Court of Appeals ruling.
The three-judge panel voted late on Friday to deny a motion that would have blocked a lower court's decision on the issue.
This means more than 350,000 Haitian nationals living in the country, including thousands in central and western Ohio, will retain their legal residency for right now.
The Trump Administration will likely ask the U.S. Supreme Court to allow the termination to move forward.
