SeaWorld rescuers are nursing a manatee back to health after rescuing him from a storm drain in Melbourne Beach.
The manatee was seeking warmer water during a cold snap and got stuck in the drain, possibly for about a week.
The manatee, weighing 410 pounds but should weigh 460 pounds, is underweight and has open wounds near his tail and flippers.
Rescuers are concerned about the manatee's buoyancy and are feeding him to help him gain weight.
Once the manatee heals, he will be placed with other manatees before being released back into the water near Melbourne Beach.
