Keurig Dr Pepper has recalled over 80,000 McDonald’s brand coffee pods labeled as decaf, because they may be mislabeled and contain caffeine.
The FDA categorized the recall as a Class II, indicating potential temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.
The affected McCafé Premium Roast Decaf Coffee K-Cup Pods were sold in 84-count cartons in California, Indiana, and Nevada.
The recall affects cartons with the best-by date of “Nov. 17, 2026, and specific codes, batch numbers, and material numbers.
Caffeine intake can exacerbate symptoms in individuals with certain health conditions, including anxiety, urinary incontinence, seizures, high blood pressure, heart attack, or stroke.
