Senator Jon Husted is urging Ohioans to avoid interfering in ICE operations.

Husted addressed the issue yesterday, saying citizens have every right to speak out against immigration enforcement, but they need to keep themselves out of the law enforcement process.

The senator shared the comments just days after an immigration agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis and after central Ohio recently saw increased ICE activity in the form of Operation Buckeye.

Ohio Democrats have criticized President Trump's immigration enforcement blitz, accusing the administration of detaining people "without clear justification."
