Cleveland's fire chief is retiring amid an investigation into one of his social media posts.

Following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk last year, Chief Anthony Luke shared an animated video featuring a machine gun in front of a group of elephants with the caption "bring out the next sacrifice."

Luke was placed on paid administrative leave and has now filed for retirement, effective this coming Monday.
