Charges are being filed against a Broadview Heights man accused of assaulting a three-year-old child at a local Meijer store.
Reports say the 37-year-old suspect approached the child from behind Wednesday at the Meijer in Seven Hills and slammed the boy's face into a shopping cart multiple times.
Police arrested the man at the scene.
There has been no word on the extent of the child's injuries.
