CMSD Preparing Plans For School Closures And Mergers

Leaders with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District are finalizing plans for school closures and mergers.

District CEO Dr. Warren Morgan delivered the school system's State of the Schools address on Tuesday and stated that the district must find ways to reduce $150 million from its expenditures over the next few years.

The final plan is expected to be presented to Board of Education members next month.
