The voters have had their say.
According to unofficial results, incumbent Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb cruised to reelection on Tuesday with a win over Republican challenger Laverne Gore.
Cleveland Heights City Councilman Jim Petras will be that city's new mayor, while Sandra Morgan was elected to the mayor's office in East Cleveland.
In other area contests, the proposed Elyria City Schools levy was rejected, while levies in the Lorain City Schools and Garfield Heights City Schools districts were passed.
