Police report 37 car break-ins occurred early Sunday morning, stretching from West 25th to West 73rd Street.
The incidents, happening between midnight and 5 a.m., involved suspects smashing car windows to steal valuables or weapons.
Residents have reported an increase in property crimes in recent weeks, with some experiencing repeated break-ins that have cost them hundreds of dollars in repairs.
Police suspect multiple vehicles and request that any available surveillance footage be shared with detectives.
