Bionca Ellis has learned her fate.

She was convicted of murder in the stabbing of three-year-old Julian Wood in the parking lot of a North Olmsted Giant Eagle in June of last year.

Ellis had pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity but was found guilty of all charges, including aggravated murder.

A judge today sentenced her to life without the possibility of parole, telling Ellis, "Mental illness does not excuse what you did."
