Deputy Marshal Shot Wednesday In Glenville

Authorities say a deputy U.S. Marshal shot while serving an arrest warrant Wednesday in Glenville will survive.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. near East 91st Street and Stewart Avenue.

Suspect Larry Wiley reportedly barricaded himself inside a home for hours after shooting a member of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force but was eventually taken into custody.

The injured officer was last reported as hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
