An employee with the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District is being sidelined as the district investigates a social media post.

The district reports the unnamed employee—currently on administrative leave—appeared to share a message on their personal social media account that celebrated the death earlier this week of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was fatally shot on Wednesday during an appearance in Utah.

The district states that the contents of the apparent post are reprehensible and do not align with the school system's core values.
