Furry Friends-APL - Zilla & "Clear the Shelters" Event

 Zilla who was surrendered to us in September 2024 when his owner could no longer care for him. Here is some information about him…

 

Zilla is a 3-year-old, happy-go-lucky pup who’s been waiting for his new family to find him at the Cleveland APL since September. He’s playful, adventurous, and loves the outdoors—whether that’s splashing in the lake, going for long walks, or romping in the play yard. Zilla has done great with other dogs in playgroups, is house and crate trained, and has experience with kids. He’s smart, eager to learn, and sweet as can be. His signature move is leaning in for all of the pets and belly rubs he can get. Zilla would be the perfect match for an active home looking for a fun and affectionate companion.

Clear the Shelters is a nationwide pet adoption campaign that takes place throughout the month of August each year. Thanks to their support, we are able to offer waived and reduced adoption fee promotions to help more animals get adopted. We have so many loving cats, dogs, and other animals just waiting for a new home. Every adoption not only changes that animal’s life but also makes space for us to help even more animals in need
