Passengers are suing Delta Air Lines and United Airlines for selling window seats that do not have windows.
The lawsuits claim that some planes have seats without windows due to air conditioning ducts and electrical conduits.
Delta charges a premium for seats it indicates have a window but are actually next to a blank wall.
Passengers like Aviva Copaken and Marc Brenman paid extra for window seats on United flights that did not have windows.
The airlines have not responded to requests for comment on the lawsuits.
