A suspect is hospitalized after having been shot Wednesday by a Cleveland Police officer.
Police dispatched to a scene near West 73rd Street and Clark Avenue found a man who had been shot dead.
Nearby, police found a man who matched a description they had of the suspect.
Police say an officer made contact with that man and that shots were fired.
The incident remains under investigation.
The officer was not hurt.
