Mark and Patricia McCloskey now have their AR-15 back after it was seized by police five years ago.
The Missouri couple made headlines in 2020 after brandishing guns outside their home as Black Lives Matter protesters marched past.
Mark McCloskey posted on social media, "It only took 3 lawsuits, 2 trips to the Court of Appeals and 1,847 days, but I got my AR15 back!"
He retrieved the AR-15 from the police property room and expects the police to return the pistol next week.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department took possession of the AR-15, while the St. Louis Sheriff’s Department took the pistol.
