Legendary Singer Connie Francis Dies At 87: Connie Francis, the iconic singer who was one of the top-selling female artists of all time, is dead at age 87. She died last night, two weeks after being taken to the hospital in extreme pain. Her friend Ron Roberts confirmed the news on Facebook this morning. Francis sold millions of records throughout the 1950s and 60s with hits like "Who's Sorry Now?" and "Where the Boys Are" was the first woman to have a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with 1960's "Everybody's Somebody's Fool." She made it into the Spotify charts just this year, thanks to a TikTok trend using her 1962 song "Pretty Little Baby." The singer was born in New Jersey in 1937 as Concetta Franconero and settled on Connie Francis as her stage name.
