Sen. Bernie Moreno is introducing a resolution in the U.S. Senate calling on the Norwegian Nobel Committee to award President Trump the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for his role in ending Iran's nuclear program and hostilities.
Moreno criticized Obama's Nobel Peace Prize win, stating, "Obama won the Nobel, then he killed hundreds of civilians and did nothing to stop Forever Wars."
Rep. Earl "Buddy" Carter nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing Trump's role in brokering an end to the armed conflict between Israel and Iran and preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Carter's nomination letter praised Trump's leadership in pursuing peace, preventing war, and advancing international harmony, aligning with the ideals of the Nobel Peace Prize.
