Cleveland Clinic is updating its recently announced policy change regarding copays.
The clinic previously stated that beginning June 1st, patients with appointments for nonemergency outpatient services will need to pay their copay before the appointment or at check-in.
Patients who are unable to cover the copay for any reason will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
However, in an update announced this week, the care provider mentions that patients who cannot make their copay at the time of their appointment will be set up with a zero-percent interest payment plan and will not have to reschedule.
