Wife Of Cleveland Heights Mayor Accused Of Anti-Semitism

Cleveland Heights residents are up in arms about alleged comments made by the mayor's wife.

Many residents showed up at yesterday's Cleveland Heights City Council meeting to speak out on allegations that Mayor Khalil Seren's wife, Natalie McDaniel making anti-Semitic comments.

The Ohio Civil Rights Commission filed a complaint against the city last week regarding the comments.

The complaint included screenshots of what is reportedly a text exchange between Seren and McDaniel where she uses language many view as derogatory toward those of Jewish faith.

Mayor Seren was present at last night's meeting but did not speak out on the issue.

He says he will be releasing a statement on the matter today.
