A woman is recovering from injuries suffered when she was shot Saturday morning in Elyria.
Police say the 32-year-old was armed and intoxicated when she broke into a home on East Avenue.
According to the report, the woman's gun went off during an altercation with the home's resident.
The suspect's injuries are described as non-life-threatening, and she is facing multiple charges.
