Ohio Supreme Court Upholds Mackenzie Shirilla's Conviction

The Ohio Supreme Court this week is refusing to hear the appeal of a Strongsville woman who was found to have intentionally crashed her car, killing two people.

The crash happened in July of 2022 when the 17-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla was driving the vehicle at 100 miles per hour and crashed into a brick wall.

The crash killed 19-year-old Davion Flanagan and 20-year-old Dominic Russo.

Shirilla was later convicted on multiple charges, including murder and felonious assault, and was sentenced to 15 years to life.
