Fan Vote sponsored by Alliant Credit Union
- The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fan Vote sponsored by Alliant Credit Union is going strong and hit one million votes last week. This week, voting is up over 1.4 million votes
- Right now, Phish is in the lead, followed by Bad Company, Billy Idol, Soundgarden, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, and Chubby Checker.
- If your favorite artist isn’t in the top seven right now, there is still plenty of time to vote. The Fan Vote is open now until 11:59 pm on April 21. Fans can vote for up to seven artists per day
- The top seven artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a "fans' ballot" that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2025 Inductees
- If you are looking for other ways to show your support for your favorite Nominee, the 2025 Rock Hall Nominee Collection is available at the Rock Hall Store now
Holly Knight
- Tonight, we are excited to welcome hit songwriter Holly Knight to the Rock Hall to talk about her journey. Knight is the creative force behind timeless anthems like Tina Turner’s “The Best,” Pat Benatar’s “Love Is a Battlefield,” and Aerosmith’s “Rag Doll.”
- In this exclusive event, Holly will delve into her fascinating memoir, “I Am The Warrior: My Crazy Life Writing the Hits and Rocking the MTV Eighties”. If you are interested in reading her memoir, we have it on sale now at the Rock Hall Shop online and in the Museum
- This event is a can’t-miss for fans of the ‘80s
- Tickets for the Holly Knight event are still available and are only $5. For more information, visit rockhall.com
Rock Hall Film Series
- The 2025 Rock Hall Film Series continues with two more films this month, both related to Women’s History Month
- Next Thursday, we will be showing Bad Reputation, a documentary that examines the career of feminist icon and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joan Jett from her early years in music, her longstanding partnership with Kenny Laguna, and her activism for animal rights and the environment.
- On March 27, we are excited to welcome director Alison Tavel for a screening and discussion of her film, Resynator, where Alison explores the RESYNATOR synthesizer invented by her father, Don Tavel, in the 70s. This showing will be followed by a discussion with Alison Tavel herself.
- Resynator features many music industry greats, including 2010 & 2014 Inductee Peter Gabriel, 2017 Inductee Jon Anderson, 2022 Inductee Jimmy Jam, Grace Potter, Mark Ronson, Fred Armisen, and Gotye
- We have one more film to show in April, Squaring the Circle, but keep an eye out for a few more films to join the film series in the coming months
- Tickets for the Rock Hall Film Series are available at rockhall.com
Summer Concert Series
- We are in the thick of planning for our Summer Concert Series here at the Rock Hall
- Even with construction going on next door with the Rock Hall’s expansion, we are programming a full summer lineup on our Union Home Mortgage Plaza and keeping the museum open throughout
- This summer is shaping up to be one of the best yet, so stay tuned on the Rock Hall socials for those announcements in the near future
