Some drugs are off the street and two suspects are facing charges following a trafficking bust in Akron this week.

Officers with the Akron Police Department's Anti-Violence Bureau carried out the raid at a home in the 500 block of Prentiss Avenue on Tuesday.

Officials say fentanyl, methamphetamine, and nearly $3,000 in cash were found.

One of the suspects is facing counts related to drug trafficking and the other has been charged with permitting drug abuse.
