The Eagles did the unthinkable to win their second-ever Lombardi trophy. The team destroyed the Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59 from New Orleans. Jalen Hurts threw for 221 yards and scored three total touchdowns to go with one interception. Rookie corner Cooper DeJean picked off Patrick Mahomes and returned it for a touchdown for his first-career interception while the defense combined for six sacks without blitzing once. The 24-0 halftime lead was the second-largest in Super Bowl history and the 34-0 advantage in the third quarter was the biggest since Super Bowl 48 back in 2014. The Eagles succeeded in getting revenge against the Chiefs after Philly fell to KC by three points two years ago in Super Bowl 57. Mahomes passed for 257 yards, three touchdowns and committed three turnovers. Xavier Worthy caught eight balls for 157 yards and two scores as Kansas City's quest to become the league's first-ever three-peat champion in the Super Bowl era came to a crashing halt.
