President Trump says any "pain" caused by his new tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China will be worth it for the U.S.
In a Sunday morning post to Truth Social, Trump wrote “This will be the Golden Age of America! Will there be some pain? Yes, maybe (and maybe not!). But we will make America great again, and it will all be worth the price that must be paid."
Trump added "Make your product in the USA and there are no tariffs!"
He also called for Canada to become "our Cherished 51st State."
Many economists believe the tariffs will raise the price of consumer goods, construction materials, vehicles, and homes.
