Vivek Ramaswamy is expected to announce a run for Ohio governor.
Multiple reports say the Ohio native and former Republican presidential candidate is parting ways with Donald Trump's proposed Department of Government Efficiency and will launch his campaign for Ohio governor early next week.
Ramaswamy was Trump's choice to co-lead the task force along with Elon Musk.
Musk is now expected to be fully in charge of DOGE.
