Google has unveiled a new chip that could transform the world of quantum computing.
The company says its next-generation chip 'Willow' can make a mathematical calculation in five minutes that would take a traditional supercomputer 10 septillion years - longer than the age of the known universe.
Willow does not yet have commercial applications, but could one day transform medicine, chemistry, or AI.
