The Browns are suing the city of Cleveland.

The team is asking for clarification of the "Modell Law" which city officials have threatened to use to keep the Browns in Cleveland.

The law blocks teams from moving out of the city after the original team relocated to Baltimore in 1995 under then-owner Art Modell.

The Haslams proposed a new stadium in the suburban area of Brook Park and could move when the current lease ends in 2028.
